Everything good in your life has started with attendance.
Simply showing up regularly reinforces the habit.
Unfortunately this works for both good and bad habits.
But, we have the ability to learn what can be done differently just by showing up if we prioritize what's important.
Prioritizing is hard because YOU decide.
When things go wrong and we make mistakes, we can get better or blame someone or something.
YOU decide.
If you want to improve your health, you get to decide the next right move.
You show up, make the move and there may be a chance it’s the wrong move. If it is, you use it as a lesson and make another move.
Soon you’ll let go of the fear of making a wrong decision and your health will improve by learning what works and doesn’t work for you.
This learn-by-doing approach will lead to you saying no more often and putting things on hold that are no longer a priority.
You’ll gain confidence and belief that you can do it.
When you are confident, you continue to take action.
Action motivates regular attendance (not the other way around).
Your career has been a success because you made success a priority. You showed up, learned from your mistakes, took responsibility and got better.
Your marriage is healthy because you’ve learned from your mistakes, don’t pass blame and got better at being a spouse. Or you got really good at saying, “yes dear, you are right.”
Your health and fitness is not any different.
Make it a priority and start moving it in a positive direction little by little.
Keep moving,
