The Big 6 You Won't Hack Your Way Around

Only a few things really matter when it comes to your fitness and health.

  1. Eating the right amount of food for your goals.

  2. Prioritize protein and fiber - the fiber should predominantly come from veggies and fruits…strive for 25 grams or more per day.

  3. Physical activity - lift some weights and move your body with structured, planned exercise.

  4. Improve sleep - “exhaust” every measure there is - no caffeine after 12pm, dark room, cool bed, c-pap machine…so you aren’t always exhausted.

  5. Remove/handle stress differently - say no to joining another committee, figure out how to “stop finding worry from around the bend.”

  6. What’s that one thing you know for certain will change your life for the better if you stop, reduce? Booze, sodas, cigars/cigarettes/weed, impulsive snacking…

You will not hack your way to better health and vitality.

Keep cold plunging, but make sure you are not skipping workouts.

Take your supplements, but don’t think for one second they do anything of value without adequate protein, fiber and nutrients from whole foods.

Embrace the work.
